Week Long Tour With Hong Kong Four

Eva, May, Florrie & Ali enjoyed a week taking in many of Tasmania's major tourist attractions along with a few less known gems. On Day 1 we visited the World Heritage Port Arthur Historic Site and the areas natural geological formations. Day 2 was a circumnavigation of Maria Island with a shore visit to meet the resident wombats. Day 3 saw us visiting Richmond followed by a Hobart city tour, a drive to the summit of Mt Wellington, and a stop in at Ross on our way to Bicheno to see the lit...

South West Wilderness Day Tour

Kubi & Leo, from Hong Kong, had a great day out on their Wilderness adventure. After a stop for coffee our first taste of adventure was at the Creepy Crawly Nature Trail at the start of the Scotts Peak Road. We then called in at Lake Pedder Lodge for a warm by the fire after stopping for photos of Lake Pedder and the Sentinal Range on the way. Then it was off to view the 140 metre high Gordon Dam. Grandparents and Cousins Enjoy Day at Freycinet

Grandparents Bill & Lydia, and cousins Marina, Lia and Becky enjoyed a day tour with Tasmania i-Drive, commencing with pick-up from Hobart airport and finishing back at their hotel in Hobart. We visited Kate's Berry Farm, walked to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, drove to Cape Tourville to take in the fabulous outlook, had a seafood feast at Freycinet Marine Farm and returned via historic Ross and a look at the beautiful convict built bridge.

David & Beth and Mary & Mary enjoyed a cruise ship shore excursion with a difference! We made the two hour drive south to join the Ida Bay Railway tour. We saw Rufous and Bennetts wallabies along the way and enjoyed the informative presentation given by our locomotive driver, Wayne, on the 2 hour return journey. Honk Kong Family Enjoy Quick Tasmania Tour

With just a few days to spare we packed a lot in for the Lui family of Sammy and Benna, with daughters Yvonne and Winnie. Straight from Launceston airport to Strahan, via Trowunna Wildlife Snctuary and 41 Degrees South Salmon Farm, for their first night. Shore Excursion for 4 from Minnesota, USA

Doug & Rita and Steve & LInda enjoyed getting off the beaten track on our Huon Tour. First stop, Tahune Airwalk with a walk amongst the magnificent Huon Pines and through the treetops on the airwalk. We then ventured in to Hartz National Park and, although misty rain, enjoyed a view of glacial Lake Osborne and the King Billy Pines along it's shoreline. Finally a stop in at Frank's Cider for a tasting and souvenir purchases before heading back to the ship. Bon voyage!

Shore Excursion for a lovely family from Iowa, USA!

Dave and Doris were celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on a cruise with their family including Leah, Jesse, Beth, Ethan and young Jonah. We saw pademelons and giant swamp gums at Russell Falls, sleepy koalas and native Tasmaian devils at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, and finished with a dampish view on top of Mount Wellington. A full bus but a happy bus load! Well done Dave and Doris on 50 years together!

Group from Northern Ireland Enjoy Thrill Ride!

Kenny & Amanda and Ivor & Denise had a great shore excursion with Tasmania i-Drive last Wednesday. We drove though Battery Point, Sandy Bay, Taroona, Kingston Beach and stopped in at the Channel Heritage Museum at Margate for coffee and a good look around. Lai Fung, her elder brother, his wife and daughter, Derek, Bee Kheng and Jia'en, enjoyed a 7 day tour of Tasmanian highlights with Tasmania i-Drive. Canadian Cruising Chums Critters, Cheese, Chocolate, Cider and Beer Day Tour

Harry & Jackie and Gordon & Jodie enjoyed a cruise excursion out of Burnie with Tasmania i-Drive. We drove through Penguin and Ulverstone before stopping for a coffee and exploring the murals at Sheffield. The main attraction for the day was Trowunna Wildlife Park. After we drove through Chudleigh for honey, Railton for a beer and cider tasting at Seven Sheds, Ashgrove cheese, and finally House of Anvers for chocolate!

Ivy and Rachael, from Hong Kong, enjoyed a jam-packed day tour starting with pick-up from their hotel in Launceston. We drove to Avoca for coffee before turning off and heading through the tiny village of Royal George and down a dirt road where we saw a majestic wedge tailed eagle! Hong Kong Family Enjoy Sheep Farm Tour

The Fung family from Hong Kong enjoyed their day with Tasmania i-Drive visiting the Curringa Sheep Farm for a morning tea tour that involved a drive around the 750 acre property looking at opium poppies, a sheep herding demonstration from the farm dogs, and seeing a sheep get a haircut. We then went on to Westerway to pick raspberries before finishing up with a walk around the Russell Falls area of Mt Field National Park.

Massachusetts Couple Whirlwind Tour of Tasmania

Emily and Don only had four days to see as much as they could of Tasmania. They made their own way to Hobart from the airport and had a look around the State's capital before our tour began on Saturday. We drove to Cradle Mountain with stops at Oatlands, Ross and Deloraine on the way. A salmon and ginseng tasting followed by a tour of Marakoopa cave were squeezed in before arriving at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge. That's what Konrad's T-Shirt said! Faith, Sigrund, Alois and Konrad, all from Austria, were meant to bring some sunshine with them. My guests, Michael and Cath, had a great time feeding the highland cattle at Tarraleah and the kangaroos at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary during a three day tour taking in Mt Field National Park, Curringa Sheep Farm, Tarraleah highland village, Lake St Clair National Park, the Wall in the Wilderness huon pine carving, Bothwell and Bonorong on the way back to the airport.
