That's what Konrad's T-Shirt said! Faith, Sigrund, Alois and Konrad, all from Austria, were meant to bring some sunshine with them. It was sunny, and very warm, at around 30 degrees Centigrade, but that was a couple of of days ago! On the day of the tour, 16th November, 2017 it was cool and misty. No chance of seeing anything from the top of Mount Wellington but we still had a great time seeing the animals at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, visiting the quaint township of Richmond with it's rich tapestry of historic sights, and getting off the beaten track. We visited the townships of Margate, Kettering, Woodbridge, Cygnet, Franklin and Geeveston. We explored the Channel Museum at Margate, tasted cold and hot smoked Atlantic salmon and ocean trout at Woodbridge, did a cider tasting at Frank's Cider and visited the Wooden Boat Centre, both at Franklin. The Wooden Boat Centre, pictured here, is the only wooden boat building training centre in Australia.
