Cruise Ship Shore Tour Hobart -The Huon Valley - Wineries, Cider & Gourmet Food

Pick up from Cruise Ship 8:00am-9:00am. depending on arrival time
Have you back by 4:30pm.
This tour down the South of Hobart gives people in a short space of time a good taste of what Tasmania is about.
  • This cruise ship shore tour will take you up through historic Salamanca and Battery Point  to Mt Wellington with stunning 360 degree views of Hobart and surrounds.
  • From Mt Wellington we travel down to the Huon Valley our apple, pear and berry growing area of Tasmania.
  •  Your first stop will be Willie Smiths Cider a 5 Generation  family who have turn their apple growing industry into organic cider making. There is also a small photo gallery and some history attached to this newly refurbished industry also which is well worth a look at.
  • Just down the road is the local visitors centre which is equipped with many local art and crafts on display and to purchase if you wish.
There  is the Honey Pot here and you can taste some of the locally made honey including leatherwood which is endemic to Tasmania. Across the road in Dec & Jan is the Cherry cherries in Tasmania.....I think!
  • Your private tour then takes you through the beautiful apple cherry and pear orchards to Hartzview Vineyard for a wine tasting and a light lunch at 1.00p.m. We will then make our way back to your cruise ship via some coastal views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel across to Bruny Island.

  $720.00 (1-6 persons vehicle price)
All wine tastings and lunch etc are extra.
To confirm your tour a 20% deposit of total is required please  and the remainder can be paid for on the day by EFTPOS Visa/Mastercard
