Your Cruise Ship Shore Tour starts from the Maker's Workshop Burnie: 8.00-9:00am (Depending on arrival time)
Return Maker's Workshop Burnie: 4:00pm 5.00pm. depending on departure time.
- Your cruise ship shore tour leaves Burnie to travel via the coastal road through the beautiful seaside town of Wynyard up to Table Cape
on the North West of Tasmania where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Bass Strait. During
mid-September to October the cape is a spectacular sight of incredible
colours of all different varieties of tulips.
- Your tour then takes you to the delightful village of Boat Harbour to enjoy the breathtaking views to the beach - plenty of spectacular coastline and photo opportunities. On a fine day the water shows off it's beautiful blue water surrounded by the granite red lichen rock that surrounds the shore.
- Tasmania has some stunning scenery and history and the historic fishing village of Stanley, on the north-west of Tasmania,
is one of those icons. The village is nestled at the base of The Nut, a sheer-sided bluff - all that
remains of an ancient volcanic plug. There is plenty of time to wander
the streets with its beautifully
preserved buildings which house a number of craft shops, tea houses,
potteries and galleries or to take the chairlift to the top of the Nut
- We will have you back to your cruise ship in time for you to have a look through the Maker's Workshop, a part contemporary museum and arts centre before you board your last shuttle bus back to your cruise ship.
