Your Cruise Ship Shore tour starts from the Makers Workshop Burnie picking you up off the Cruise Ship Shuttle: 9:00am (approx. times)
Return to Makers Workshop Burnie for Cruise Ship Shuttle: 4:30pm (approx.times)
- Your private tour take you down through a beautiful coastal drive passing through the delightful seaside towns of Penguin and Ulverstone to Sheffield the town of Murals. Here you will have time to have a look at some of the pictorial history of the region which has been painted on almost every blank wall throughout the town. It is like an outside art gallery.
- From Sheffield we will then travel down through some beautiful countryside to Mole Creek and the Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary. This is the only park that shows you how the Tasmania Devil really feeds. On your way we will call into Chudleigh Honey Pot for some honey tasting . We will then join a tour at Trowunna to learn all about the native animals and see tassie devils feeding and if lucky get a chance to hold a wombat. Also plenty of time to feed the friendly roos.
- After leaving Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary we will drive up through to Elizabeth town and The Ashgrove Cheese Farm where there is a range of cheeses to taste including traditional Cheddar cheese, English county cheeses and a series of uniquely flavoured cheeses including the famous Wild Wasabi cheese.
- We will then make our way back to Burnie to connect with your shuttle bus back to your cruise ship.
